Main Salmon Trips (5–6 Day Trips) Additional Beer, Wine & Alcohol:

Due to limited cargo space and weight restrictions on flights and jet boats, any additional beer, wine, or alcohol beyond our complimentary wine service must be pre-ordered through Mountain River Outfitters. We are unable to accommodate large quantities of alcohol brought to the launch.

2-Day, 3-Day & Lower Salmon “Canyons” Trips

For these trips, guests are welcome to bring additional beer, wine, or alcohol to the meet & greet or launch morning for guides to pack and keep cold during the trip. We are no longer offering pre-order alcohol service for these trips.

Mountain River Outfitters operates under a special use permit with the Salmon-Challis National Forest for Main Salmon River (SA-6) float boating. MRO also operates under several BLM special use permits for Nez Perce National Forest, BLM Lower Salmon River Cottonwood Field Office and Owyhee River (SA7A, SA7B, SA7C, SA8). Mountain River Outfitters is an insured, licensed and bonded outfitter by the State of Idaho’s IOGLB and is an equal opportunity recreation service provider and employer.
